It has been hand-laundered and dried in the sun & carries no smoke nor pet odors nor unhygienic stains. It is perfectly sound as far as wearability, but due to the lovingly hand-distressed nature of this item, we recommend: no machine washing or drying whatsoever, folding (instead of hanging) to store & wearing only in PEACE.
