A very hard to find OOAK MP Petitpoint Backpack!! One of the most beautiful little MP Bags I’ve ever seen.  This was a gift from my husband and only displayed and lovingly admired. Just amazing and so special! 

In addition to the very fine Petitpoint panels on the body and flap of the backpack, there are fabulous antique brocade velvets inside and out, tiered ribbon trim and wonderful subtle gold lace.  The colors are so gorgeous in pastel shades of pinks, faded rose, sage green, natural tones and light gold.  Topped off with a beautiful little purple stone antique brooch on the flap that is perfection! The inside has a lovely brocade velvet and an antique trim pocket, magnetic closure on flap and the signature MP satin patch sewn on the gusset.  All colors in harmony as only Robin can do in all its perfectly imperfect glory! It’s hard to capture the true beauty of this bag in photos.  In person it is so incredible.  The fine Petitpoint panels are really exceptional on this one and one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.

This backpack is a really nice size - just big enough for essentials, but not overwhelming. 

Measurements: The bag itself, without fringe is 9 1/2 inches wide across x 12 inches long x 5 inches deep at the widest part of the gusset.  The fringe ads another approximate 3 inches around all edges. 

14 1/2 inch double backpack strap drop - length of each strap is 29 inches - easy to carry over your shoulder or wear as a backpack.
